The Gospel “Y” Chart Illustrated
In our training program, I talk about The Gospel “Y” Chart, which is a remix of the “Y” Chart that has been popularized among some biblical counselors.
There is also a helpful infographic and video short (below) that teaches several key elements regarding how a person changes. In this remix, I draw attention to the essentialness of Gospel transformation at the level of the heart before talking about a person’s behaviors. Our behaviors can only change if our hearts are first changed. Here are three of the key elements of The Gospel “Y” Chart:
- True change begins with heart transformation.
- Bad habits are easy, but they lead to unrest.
- Good habits are hard, but they lead to rest.
